More about me…
I’m Gailen David, an aviation enthusiast with a passion for making travel a little kinder and life a little fairer. Beyond aviation, I’m deeply committed to conversations that matter—like preserving our democracy, standing up for truth, fighting for workers’ rights, and fostering a sense of community during these pivotal times.
I also believe in honoring the past to enrich the future. That’s why I’m dedicated to preserving the history of air transportation, ensuring that aviation’s legacy and contributions remain alive for future generations.
If you’re into aviation history, travel civility, or meaningful dialogue about the world we share, I’d love to connect—especially on platforms like Blue Sky, where honest discussions thrive.

Rooted in Aviation and Exploration
After 24 years as an International Purser with a major airline, I saw firsthand the power of respect and professionalism in transforming travel experiences. That inspired me to launch Jetiquette®️, a campaign encouraging civility in travel—something that feels more urgent than ever today.
These days, I stay involved in aviation through projects like co-founding a TV production company focused on travel and tech, hosting a talk show, and leading efforts to preserve aviation’s rich history, including the legacy of iconic airlines and historic air terminals.
Advocate for Fairness and Truth
Outside of travel, I’m all about standing up for what’s right—pushing back against corporate greed, supporting labor rights, or speaking out against injustice. That’s meant some tough fights (and even tougher losses), but I believe in staying true to what matters: honesty, equity, and accountability.
At the same time, I’m committed to ensuring aviation’s past isn’t forgotten. By preserving historical artifacts and sharing the stories of those who shaped the industry, I hope to inspire future generations of travelers and aviation professionals.
