15oz White Mug
Flying Clipper Service from Coconut Grove to Havana, Nassau, West Indies, Central and South America.
Coconut Grove served as the gateway to Latin America from the 1920s through the 1940s.
In the 1930s, Pan American Airways flights from the US to Latin America departed from their seaplane terminal at Coconut Grove's point of Dinner Key. The luxurious Flying Clippers offered service to cities in Latin America that did not have suitable paved runways for land-based aircraft.
Pan American's Dinner Key Terminal functioned as a gateway to the Caribbean and Central and South America from the late 1920s (As the New York, Rio, and Buenos Aires Line) into the 1930s as Pan American Airways, until the 1940's when the Flying Clipper seaplanes became generally obsolete.
Pan Am sold its Dinner Key terminal to the City of Miami in 1946 and in 1954 the terminal was converted to Miami City Hall, a role it still serves today.
This high quality 15oz ceramic white mug has a premium hard coat that provides crisp and vibrant color reproduction sure to last for years. Perfect for all hot & cold beverages.
